Menthol was the first black man in the city Hengelo (1920). He traveled the entire country to sell toothpaste, something people never heard of before! That's how he got his nickname ''Menthol''. He married the prettiest girl in the city called ''Roosje''. He's black, she's white, an impossible combination at the time. This was one of the first interracial marriages in the Netherlands! The hands represent his wife. A rose is painted in the background to symbolize love and marriage. Color doesn't play a roll.

Grandcafé De Snor in 's-Heerenberg got new owners and a different look. RoosArt made a huge mural inside the cafe of famous people with a moustache. The building used to be an old cinema, so the painting contains old moviestars as a link to the history of the building. This painted took 55 hours and is completely made with spray paint and acrylics.

This piece is a modern version of painting ''de Nachtwacht'' (Rembrandt) and located in restaurant Vanouds! It took more than 60 hours of work and is made with brushes and acrylic paint. The people in the painting are famous people in the region (Doetinchem). It contains local football players, musicians, pub and store owners, etc. Location: Grutstraat 43, Doetinchem.

This adorable man (85) used to be a miller a long time ago. The mill has been destroyed in World War II and has never been rebuild again, despite all effords. Now the building finally returned! This piece  is completely made with spray paint and acrylics.

Holland and Indonesia unite at an unique art show in Bali. RoosArt collaborated with artist Rôny Indô, an French-Indonesian Prince. The two artists combined their completely different art styles and made some colorful paintings on canvas together. The art show takes place at Métis restaurant and gallery, a combination of fine dining and fine art (on the 21st of February 2019).  The profits go to charity: a local school that teaches little children English and other subjects.
